Cannot update or setup 8.1

Are you actually seeing that microsoft error?

Victors issue was very out of the ordinary but we were able to solve him offline.

If you would like to send me your setup.log we can start there.

P.S. ETA -- We can't yet recommend windows 8.1 because it is BETA -- we don't test or QA on it. But we can take a look to see what is going on. Please keep in mind that currently system requirements are limited to windows 7/8
