Any chance that it is launching but with the Window off screen?I have seen that in the past. Unlikely if you don't see it in the Task Bar, but worth investigating.

Thanks again, it's now fixed. I uninstalled, removed the indexes and config files and instaleld in to a new folder so it built everything from scratch. Not sure why I had a problem but all working now
