the event logs suggest that the connection between X1 UI and the indexing service cannot be made. This connection uses WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), so it may be blocked either by the antivirus, or by the group policies.
Can you start the task manager, and there should be a tab names Services. Locate a service named NetPipeActivator (with description Net.Pipe Listener Adapter) and check if it is running.
