What is the best way to fix or repair a corrupt X1 database?

Questions:
1. Is the best solution to uninstall / reinstall X1?

I've been dealing with a corrupt index for several months, due to my current workload. My biggest concern is my 2.5 million files which were indexed. The last time I did a full index it took nearly a week.

Any suggestions?
