I have been using X1 version 6 for the last several years and it continue to work well, through Windows 7 and on to Windows 8.1 I haven't felt much need to upgrade but I'm thinking (as I previously have) of purchasing a license to the latest version.
What happens when the 1-year license and support period expires and/or I were decline to upgrade and renew? Will I be able to continue using the version I've got installed? Will it continue to phone home? Will I run into problems if I needed to reinstall the version an older version, outside of its support period?
