I am a new customer – joined in April. Your new developments aimed at the cloud, while probably your future, hopefully will not stop improvements to Desktop Search.
With file options, in what to scan for in this folder and its subfolders, I wish for certain subfolders and their subfolders of my document files that I could specify indexing only the first 50 words or the first paragraph of a document in that subfolder instead of “Everything”. This would allow my search results to remain uncluttered by spurious results caused by long documents. If this idea became popular, you might consider two check boxes a search, one for "gross/uncluttered" and one for "fine including everything" excluded by the new option where it is invoked.
