as i mentioned before, REvo uninstaller did that job perfectly fine for me...
i've actually successed uninstalling YDS on my personal machine, and then the pro-beta (etc... - see my above thread with all the steps)...
Finally, i've re-installed the YDS, which is working fine just now, but i must confess that this is not my goal any longer, and i would like to have the pro-beta back in business...
what puzzles me is that, when installing the pro-beta, i can't seem to have any issue, it all completes fine, loading the app seems fine as well ... but then, while up, nothing happens.
when checking the indexing status (right-hand side, bottom of GUI) , all the three items (Outlook, Files and Gmail - as i have added my Gmail account) are presenting the "last indexed: Never" status, without showing any progress.
i have an old Office package installed (2003), and i am not using Outlook, but i don't think this should be a problem anyhow...
Needless to say that trying any query yields no results. I'd gladly try something else, but what?
