Differences between V5.2.3 V8.2.4

Kenward, I'm afraid you're unaware of an established Microsoft Outlook technique for enveloping emails. Fortueta is using this technique. Most users/developers are unaware of it. Here is how to understand what Fortueta is talking about.

1. Un-maximize your Outlook client window so you can work with the main Outlook pane and an email window simultaneously.
2. Ctl-N to create a new empty email and slide that window to the side.
3. In the Outlook navigator pane, find an existing email with an attachment, Ctl-right-click on that message, and slide it over to the body of your empty-message window, dropping it into that empty message.
4. Voila! You have a .msg file inside the email... and that file will have the attachment embedded.
5. There are other techniques for amassing large volumes of .msg files and storing them in NTFS, rather than as attachments as in my example...this is where old X1 used to pick them up. Fortueta is apparently using this technique.
6. My guess is that the Version-8 developers did not understand what this portion of the old codebase was doing, and so they left it behind when building the Version 8 from scratch.

Such is software development...
