Nope. I am well aware of the use of .msg files. The things litter my system.
Then again, use of the word "enveloping" could confuse people. That words is usually used differently in an email context.
In this case, as I understand the original message, the msg file is the "envelope", to use your word, for xls files. As you said the key bit is "with an attachment". And X1 isn't finding content within that attachment.
Unless you have a way of making this work?
