Hello everybody,
I am a new user of X1 Desktop Search, and I have a small question:
When going to Tools -> Options, and then to Indexing -> Files, and clicking "More Indexing Options" we get the screen "Indexing Options", where we can select the drives and folders to be indexed, as and set indexing option for each of them.
My question is:
What is the difference between "Everything (all files)"
and
"File names and sizes, plus content for specified extenstions (.doc, .ppt, etc.)"
Isn't the first option also index the content of the files? If it does, why do I have to add unknown file types manually? And if I do have to do so, isn't the first option ("Everyting") redundant ?
ThanQ very much,
Jonathan Orlev
