I am trying out X1 Mobile Search (v1.0.9) on my iPad 2. My "source" collection is X1 (v6.7.2/4054by) running on a Windows 7 laptop.
On the Win7 laptop, I have two partitions on the boot drive and two externally-connected (via USB) drives. I am currently indexing only the external drives.
When looking at X1 directly on the laptop, an indexed file on one of the external drives will have a path like...
When I run the same query from the X1 Mobile Search client on the iPad, I see the same list of found files, but when I tap on the file I want to look at, I get an "Error: File not found on PC." message.
I see that the X1 Mobile Search client thinks the path to the target file starts with "[7a34-f7c5-f1ce-237a]" - so maybe it is unable to "resolve" this to the K: drive?
