I have a challenge... Image may be NSFW.

Due to company policy, all internal email (accounts for about 80% of my email volume) have a standard signature involving graphics elements in the form of gif-pictures. When indexing my various OST and PST files, these gif's show up as attachments in the search results for the attachment column and mess up my search results.
Any pointers as to either omit gif-files to be indexed at all, or to have them disappear as an attachment in the attachment column?
Using NOT as an operator will not work since that will remove most email from search result and any "valid" attachments I'm looking for along with it.
Does anyone see this problem and possibly have found a solution for it?
Thanks for input!
