Thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.

We can understand your hesitance to move from a version of X1 that is working perfectly for you. The release of X1 Search 8 was a significant shift in the core framework and features of X1. As such, we simply can't support upgrades from the 6.x.x line to 8.x.

If you change your mind and wish to give version 8 a try, we'd love to get your feedback.
