This release raises another issue. X1 requires that Outlook be closed when it installs. Knowing this, I manually closed Outlook before I allowed the update.
But Outlook takes time to close. So I got the message about "closing Outlook" before installation proceeds.
Other software that has similar needs often offers a "Back" button so that the installer can have a second run at determining which processes are still open and need closing.
This helps to ensure that Outlook closes gracefully. I doubt if X1 can do any damage if it closes Outlook, but given the fragility of PST files I would not want to run the risk.
On this release, it installed just fine. And I have yet another X1 icon on the desktop to delete.
