I have 6 files in one of my folders that is being fully indexed, and they all end in "82130AAA.pdf" (one of them is named "AZDOR_82130AAA.pdf" for example).
I simply wanted to find all files that had "aaa" in them, so i type in "aaa" in the filename search box...and X1 cannot find them! if i type in "82130AAA" in the search box, it finds all 6 of them! I read a post that said i should RENAME my files so the X1 search algorithm can index the filename properly, as it sees the 82130AAA as one word and doesn't index the "AAA" portion of it!
I have NEVER had this problem with prior versions of X1, and I have been using X1 for over 10 years, and frankly the new version of the product is completely useless to me at this point. i have 650K filenames indexed and i expect the product to be able to handle a simple search like this.
Is this going to be fixed? If not then you have just lost a long-time customer who has been recommending your product for years. Please let me know...
