Files - % Indexed and Last Indexed Date is out of date

I recently tried to Files data source search and no results were returned. I could not determine why they were missing. My Outlook mail data source was still returing results. As a result, I reindexed all the files under the date source Files including my hard drive, and external drive and a network drive (approximately 400,000 items). It is now operational again but it still indicates "Last Indexed 17 Dec 2013" and the % indexed is very small...0.29%.

Does anyone know what may be causing this issue?
