Unfortunately, this is a known issue:
PDF display is seriously broken
The good news is that X1 knows about it. The bad news is that we have been waiting for the fix for some time now. I reported it more than a month ago and X1 confirmed that they knew about it three weeks ago.
As this bug makes X1 all but useless for one of its key functions, I would have expected more urgency in the response.
