Happy with 6.7.4 should I take the plunge to ver 8?

For me, X1 was great at the beginning, then I noticed a gradual decline as one buggy release was followed by another. For me, 6.7.4 has been very rock solid. I'm thinking of jumping ship to 8.1 if there is a boost in performance. I have about 150K emails and about 300K files indexed. Now that 8.1 is out, is it stable enough to upgrade? I don't care about the social medial stuff, I just need Exchange, local PST, and usual suspect of files indexed.

So for those of you that upgraded to version 8, should I wait a bit more or make the jump?
