"Connection with the X1 service is lost"

Hi,

The default data folder under Windows 7 is
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\X1 Search
where [USERNAME] is the currently logged user.

You can also try type
"%LOCALAPPDATA%/X1 Search"
in Windows Explorer and it should resolve to the correct folder
