I think your best bet would be to try to recover the PST. X1 doesn't come with an email recovery option that I know of.
I have never come across the complete disappearance of an Outlook PST, certainly not after a reboot. (You will find good advice on recovering Outlook over at Slipstick Systems.) Don't forget, Windows likes to hide some files and directories (folders). So you have to search for "hidden" files.
