Thunderbird is not supported in Search 8-what next?

I understand your frustration. We are looking into potential ways to access thunderbird through IMAP/GMAIL both which do have documented solutions.

As I mentioned -- when working through releasing 8 we had many internal discussions about what we would support moving forward -- We do continue to research options for things that have impacted folks and of course I will update as info becomes available.
