The only file in that directory is X1Viewer.log. I think the only reason it is there is because I tried running that program from the X1 Search directory, which I only did out of desperation, trying to get something to work. I've rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc., but nothing changes. The only symptoms I have to go by are the events in the Windows Applications event log, which I described earlier, and which occur every time I try to run X1 Search.
