I would really like to see the Lotus Notes capability back in X1 Search 8!
As 6.7.4 didn't work for after having to change from XP to Win 7 Pro 64bit (all strange things happened from missing symbol bar, successful startup only every 2nd to 10th time and random indexing problems...). 7 beta worked a lot better even so it is obviously a better - it sometimes put a really heavy load on the system, consumes a hell of memory and never successfully finished the indexing process neither for mail (Lotus Notes) nor for files. Therefore, my hope all the time has been that X1 would some day finish the 7 pro so that I would have a really usable Lotus Notes search solution again which I loved for many years on XP with X1 6.7.x and which made me buy X1 pro!
I'm really sad seeing that X1 is running into the hype technologies and dropping there excellent business technology! May be I'm the only one - but I guess I'm not - who used X1 pro as his company is using Lotus Notes and the internal search function of Notes is so ... let's say... "different" so that you never know if you can trust the result or not.
So, please, please, please - think about bringing back the Lotus Notes Client back into X1 pro - it is really something making it unique and at least made me buy it!
