Error during software installation when updating

When I started X1 I received a message that an update to v 4333in is available. I clicked that I want to download, but after about 5 seconds (above what seems to be the download progress bar, without any progress) I received the following message:

"There was an error during the software update process. Please contact support for assistance."

So here I am, contacting support.

Any suggestions?
