I'm fairly sure if you have a license code that works with v6.2.4, it'll work with v6. This is because the old 9 digit codes stopped working with v6.2.4, v6.2.3 was the latest version that works with the old 9 digits.
That's from my memory anyway. Can't hurt to try and you can always go back to v6.2.4 if it doesn't work!
