Storing index file on SSD vs Sata HD

I have been running a similar setup for some time. OS etc. on a 256GB SSD. Data on a 2TB drive.

I have also had the X1 index there, in fact two of them.

X1 Pro takes up 16.2 GB. X1 runs to 8.93 GB. That is around 10 per cent of the disk.

With 49 GB free, I reckon that I'll be moving the indexes some time soon.
