the profile name is not valid

Timmay - actually it is possible to index just email.

- Open X1.
- Go to Tools > Options > Email > Outlook.
- Click Select Folders to scan

At this point you might want to fully document your email folders settings - which ones are in index, which ones are not.

From here there are potentially two approaches that may help:

- Light Hammer

Select just a few folders - folders with little to no sub-folder depth or just a few emails. Disable them so that you're asking X1 not to include them in index. Click OK. Then click the Manual Index button to "Index Outlook Now".

The net affect should be that X1 removes the items from the now disabled folders and in the process cleans up other erroneous index items too. If that is successful go back to Select Folders to Scan - re-enable the folders you disabled earlier. Click OK. And Index Outlook now to re-add the items back to indexing.

- Heavy Hammer

If the Light Hammer approach doesn't seem to fix the issue go back to the point of Select Folders to Scan - and disable everything in the Email folder list. Click OK. Click Index Outlook Now. The net affect should be that your Email search tab shows no emails in the results list of the X1 interface.

Return to Select Folders to Scan and re-enable everything. Click OK. Click Index Outlook Now.

These instructions are as close as I can get to clearing and rebuilding just the Email portion of the index. I hope they help.
