The instructions I gave are for X1 version 8. (That is also the subject of this forum.) Now you tell me that you are using Version 6.7.4. Have you looked in its Help file?
You don't need to use any plugins to get X1 to see your PST files.
Are these PST files on drive D a part of your regular Outlook setup? Or are they extra PST files for archives?
How are you adding the D: paths? You should just browse to them.
