I purchased Bloomba about a year ago. Nice program, did many things I needed. Then Yahoo "acquired" Bloomba. Poof...instantly orphaned program. It's not so much the $60 or so that I lost, it was the HOURS of extracting my Bloomba messages and getting them imported into Thunderbird. Now, I'm ready to purchase (still using the beta and trial) X1 and I see that Yahoo is getting involved. Will X1 be another Yahoo victim? I want a desktop search program that is browser, search engine and e-mail client agnostic. So, do I purchase or continue my search for the "perfect" data integration client?
