I was having trouble seeing any indexed files with 8.3.1.1, Build 5003az. I tried rebuilding the indexes, restaring X1 and and restarting my Windows 7 computer. Nothing I tried would work. So I tried uninstalling X1.
Now when I try reinstalling X1 the package says that I already have the latest version installed. I tried the "x1_killreg" and "x1_installation_cleaner.cmd" to clean things up, along with a few more reboots. No Go.
Is there an installation flag for x1searchsetup.exe to force the overwrite? Any other suggestions to get X1 installed back on my computer? Is there a Beta version of 8.4 that I could try?
