Running 6.7.4 on Windows 7 32 bit machine.
Yesterday and today, X1 is showing that it is optimising the Outlook index.
It is all the available CPU (X1Services.exe), typically 90+%, and making the cpu run at 100%.
I have tried (in Options) to stop manual indexing, etc but the buttons for all these options refuse to respond. While X1 has not stopped working (ie it is possible to enter a search and a search will be produced), it is very, very, very slow to do so.
I have tried rebooting, etc but nothing seems to help. The only way for X1Services.exe to running is to kill it in task manager.
Is there any solution to this other than reindexing or reinstall X1.
Help with this would be gratefully received.
