I received a nice note from Tech Support - X1 mobile is working again.
Not sure what was wrong, hopefully just a reboot of the AWS service was needed.
On my post above about Copernic, I did (finally) manage to get it installed on another PC. It was a firewall issue, with their slow registration process. I soon de-installed it, as I don't see it as being in the same league as X1.
