Thanks for the suggestion. I am able to get it to drag-and-drop from the attachment search, but doing that will take some getting use to. I rarely every use that search option. Most of the time I'm looking for an email, find a relevant result, and think "hmm... that attachment would help explain this too." I think the quicker option (instead of researching for the attachment to gain the drag-and-drop functionality) is to open the email from X1 and drag it from there. It adds an additional step to the process, but the change from 6.7.* to 8.* seem to have added many additional steps to most things I typically do with X1.
Does X1 not have a feature where it remembers previous searches (without saving them)? I am use to scrolling back through my search history in the search filed on the taskbar in 6.7.*, and I went to look for my history in V8, and cannot find it anywhere. I assume it is just gone now.
