How can I get X1 to search CSS comments?

Hi

How can I get X1 Search (v8.2.1 running on Win7 x64) to search text inside the comments of .CSS files?

Background:
I have created a .CSS file
It includes the unique text "GET-A-GRIP-X1" within a /* .... */ comment
I then saved an identical copy as a .TXT file.

I then deleted the all the indexes (including the "Files" index) on X1, thereby forcing it to rebuild the entire index.
The re-indexing has not completed.

But now when I search "X1 Everything" ==> All, it can only find the .TXT file but not the .CSS file. (WFT?)

Or do I have a corrupt file... or what?
