This would be great! I currently use FindAndRunRobot with custom aliases to get something like this feature, but it only does files, not email.
To have x1 do this for files and emails would be great. (On a related note, I think the in-built Windows Search on Win 8 -- and maybe Win 7 -- does do something like this; I may be wrong.)
