Search in Path column doesn't work

Just bought/installed Search 8 for my Dell Latitude E7240 win 7pro sp1 64-bit.

Trying to do a search on partial / all of a path name for files. As soon as I type any character in the field, everything disappears. Tried typing in exact path name, no luck. With x1 Pro on a different laptop, I could put in some partial and get whatever I was looking for.

(I am worried I will need to do a lot more research on Search 8 - have also had weird graphic problems in those column search boxes.)

Wish I had more time to troubleshoot.
