Sometimes X1 seems "too heavy" when you want to do a simple and fast search.
Let me explain:
Previously I have been using Google Desktop Search. Until I met "x1" and fell in love
I have also tried other programs like copernic desktop search .
A feature that I've only seen in GDS is the "quick search" (well, Copernic has a similar tool, but not as good as it has GDS ) .
They had also used a great global shortcut: "ctrl" key twice (like X1) It opened a minimum window like this:
that allowed the user to type something and automatically began to appear under search results.
The advantage of GDS was that the shortcut opened this minimum window in the center of the screen , above all windows and disappear when you click elsewhere.
My question is: is possible that in some near future… X1 incorporates a tool like this?
Let me show an example (I invented...):

And with results:

This small box, by pressing the "ctrl" key twice, it should appear above other windows or programs you are using, and disappear when you click outside the box or click on one of the results.
It would be great, and would combine the power of search X1 with a simpler user experience.
There are some other user of X1 consider this as something useful?
Thank you very much !
