I've been away from X1 for a while, and have returned with the release of V8.
I realize the interface has had a complete overhaul, but I'm missing two toolbars that I used to use constantly.
1) Under the old X1 - I had a seach toolbar integrated into my oulook right in the inbox view, so I could type there - vice using a hotkey to bring up X1. When searching the FAQ there is an old outdated set of instructions for adding back in a .dll (from a prior verison of X1). Is this toolbar simply gone ? Its a pain having to switch applications to search.
2) There was also a windows toolbar that enabled one to enter searches via a box that lived on the "start menu toolbar".
If it helps - I'm running Outlook 2013, and have disabled the (hopefully) now redundant windows search and indexing services.
