How to force X1 to launch 'Full Screen'-mode?

Recent behaviour of X1 (v8.2 beta 5001dc)
when launched it shows up in 'windowed' view, ie. not full screen.

Column widths are a mess.

I set it to full screen, adjusted columnwidths the way I want it, closed X1 and relaunched it again, but again, it shows up 'windowed mode'.
Again changed things, again closed, again launched, again windowed mode.

How to correct/reset this?
