Also, personally, I would like to have the old string still displayed when clicking on [Find] tab at the bottom

It may be easier to :
- see why X1 may not have found any hits (typo error)
- correct a typo error
Example: when I am trying to find the word personaly X1 will not show anything.
When clicking on the find button I will then see the I missed one 'l' and with the cursor key this can easily be corrected.
