Hi,

This issue may have happened previously, but was silently ignored. The we changed the Imap plugin to show connection errors to detect situation where the Imap account credentials are changed and need to be entered again. Unfortunately that also is surfacing this error...

In the upcoming 8.2 version there will be a check and if the connection error is not one indicating authentication issue, the scanner will do several retries before showing an error.

I hope that will solve this issue.
