Latest observation:
X1 continues to grind away at 100% of CPU. Still taking hours to carry out scheduled index updates.
Good old X1, beginning to be just like the Sophos antivirus I am forced to use, which on a previous (real) machine, constantly running at 100%. Sophos' 'help' (which only took 3 months to obtain) was to buy a vastly more powerful machine. In effect running the computer was for the purpose of running Sophos not for doing work. X1 is in effect becoming almost the same, the virtual machine is run just for the sake of having it indexing non-stop (as any other use of the virtual is virtually impossible, let alone carrying out any search with X1...).
