"Connection with the X1 service is lost"

Same problem here - Win 7 x64 - X1 search ver 8.10 build 5296 - X1 had been stable for months and then this crash appeared. Restarting X1 as the error message suggests does not solve the issue - just crashes again immediately. Downgrade to build 5000 fixes the issue.

X1 is notably silent on replies to this thread and another thread with the same problem. What gives??
