In case anyone views this thread wondering if X1 Mobile Connect works (or will work) with X1 Search 8, the answer is no. So, if X1 Mobile Connect is important to you, then don't waste your time with X1 Search 8. Keep using X1 Professional Client Version 6.7.4 instead.
Strangely, though mobile is so important to most users nowadays, X1 Search 8 takes a big step backwards since there is no mobile functionality. With X1 Professional Client Version 6.7.4 and X1 Mobile Connect on my iPhone and iPad, I'm able to search my 500,000 emails and 250,000 files in mere seconds from my iPhone or iPad wherever I am. Sadly, that amazing advantage doesn't exist with X1 Search 8!
