X1 stopped working - need help -

hi Chris - I ended up cleaning out the registry and removed anything to do with X1 and finally could also remove the folders completely
the install exe still had a problem, but then I loaded from an old install CD I had and with my old product key, the install worked
not sure why the other stuff did not work, but happy to be back on with X1
