I bought v8 to see how fast I could make it run on an SSD-based i7 64-bit Win7 system with 12G memory. Indexed files are now out on a 3.0 USB drive, as are back-year PST files, which I mounted to Outlook 2013. At first I made the mistake of locating the indexed files on the internal SSD drive, and realized how bad that was going to be. (No need to go into that here.) From the outset X1 would run only for a few minutes, then crash hard. I upgraded to v8.1 ... no joy. I tried the repair operation ... no joy. I now have no way to reinstall and start from scratch, because I have no license key ... when I purchased the product online, I never got a license key as I have always done in the past. When I bought v8, it simply downloaded and started to run. How do I delete X1 and reinstall, with no proof (i.e. license key) that I have already made a purchase? I have the detailed report from when X1 fails...please let me know if you need it. (Not sure about the unauth access message ... I have the same problem when running it as local admin.) Help! - Nat
