Comma characters in a Folder Name cause X1's "Open Folder" function to fail to open Windows Explorer to the designated folder and file; instead it opens to the "My Documents" or the Windows {User} folder.
For example: An X1 search lists the image file: "X:\Files\Vehicles, Electric\Design-1.jpg" Selecting that file, right-clicking to open its menu, then clicking on the Open Folder button causes Windows Explorer to open to the "My Documents" folder, which is nowhere close to that file's actual location. However, it's interesting to note that double-Clicking on that file causes the designated image viewer to launch and display the photo, as expected.
Furthermore, renaming the troublesome folder to remove its comma character "X:\Files\Vehicles Electric\Design-1.jpg", allows X1 to launch Windows Explorer directly to the "Design-1.jpg" file, without a problem.
I have not checked X1's sensitivity to other non-alphanumeric characters in Folder names, and leave that to your professional investigation.
This bug exists in X1 Search 8.0.1 for Desktop. My OS is Windows 8 64-bit.
