Exclude certain attachments from index / search results

If it means showing this image inline in the email (where it's meant to be), fine. But I would also like those files to disappear from my index. I don't need to have thousands of similar image00002.jpg attachments cluttering my index when I go to the "all" view and sort from date DESC. Would your enhancement do that too ?

I'd like it to work like yahoo and gmail. That if there is an embedded image, that it is not an attachment but imbedded in the email. Like with yahoo and gmail, we would have the option on weather or not you wanted to bring those down.

I was actually talking about this with one of our dev leads yesterday. Let me see what we can come up with.
