Keep up the good work! I have a very fast machine and find X7 to be roughly on par with 6.7 speed wise. Sometimes when it attempts to composite the screen I can actually see it building the page elements (and this is with a GTX 590 video card) so I think this portion needs some work.
The only big frustration I have with it vs. version 6.7 so far is I *hate the fact that the X1 screen grabs focus when it updates as it regularly interferes with my work. I have 2 monitors and constantly find myself moving that window to the other monitor to stop it from annoying me. But V7 has big improvements too as I notice the PDF renderer is 1000x better than the old one, if only it would render PDF's that contain layers (those still cause it to fail). All in all a big step better than v6.7, thank you for your great efforts.
